Medford Boat Club

Becoming a Medford Boat Club Member

All families are welcome to apply for Regular (full fee) membership to the Medford Boat Club. Associate memberships for individuals and couples are also available after an initial year as a paid Regular (full fee) member. Because the Club is a member-supported community organization, dues are set each year by an elected board and are never much more than what is needed for operations and maintenance of the Club, grounds, and facilities, plus $125 per membership to the capital planning fund.

The Club is open during an extended summer season for an annual membership fee that is roughly equivalent to the cost of a one-week summer vacation.

In addition to the membership fee, new Members pay a one-time initiation fee that is equal to the first year's full membership fee. This fee is due, in full, at time of membership acceptance.

There is never a charge for swimming lessons at the Medford Boat Club. On a modest, fee-for-use basis, other services are provided by the Medford Boat Club. These include motorboat and sailboat docking and mooring privileges; kayaking and paddle boats; adult and youth sailing lessons; women's, men's and couple's bocce leagues; and a wide variety of entertainment events for all age groups.

Annual billing statements will be in the mail by mid-February. Full payment is due by mid-March. Any work hours for the previous year that were not performed were billed in late December and must be paid in full in order for you to receive your dues bill.

Important: ID's will not be issued until all membership charges are paid in full.

Late fees will apply after mid-March. If we receive no communication with a member by April 1st regarding any unpaid membership dues and/or late fees, the member is at risk of termination. Please stay in touch with the financial secretary. Remember, to be a member in good standing, your outstanding work hour charges must be paid in full.

If you do not receive an invoice, please contact the MBC Financial Secretary at [email protected]
