Swimming/Beach Rules

Parents: Please review these common sense rules with your children. Those too young to understand should be supervised. Your help in assuring that all younger members and guests follow these rules will help keep the club safe and fun for all.

THESE RULES MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES

No flotation devices allowed when swimming up front OR down back.
At the Front Docks
No running, pushing, flips or spinning on the docks.
No swimming under docks
No hanging around with instructors/lifeguards unless you are swimming.
No diving off the tower.  Feet first jumping only!
No sliding on your back; come down the slide feet first sitting up or head first on your belly.

All guests must take the swim test in order to swim up front.
PLEASE SEE INSTRUCTORS!
At the Back Beach
No running, pushing, flips or spinning on the dock.
No rough play/wrestling in the water
No diving off dock
No ball playing, water guns, bats/swords
No sand or rock throwing.
No one, at any time, should be swimming beyond the rope.  (There is a significant drop just past the rope.)
No children should be left unattended.  (There are no lifeguards down back.)

Children who are observed breaking these rules will be taken to the club office and parents will be summoned.  AFTER 3 WARNINGS FROM THE SWIMMING STAFF, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SWIM AREA FOR THE DAY.

SAFETY IS A #1 PRIORITY AT MBC!
Thank you for your cooperation.
